A Play On Words is a dazzling celebration of Broadway’s golden age, led by multi-talented performer Hal Cazalet. Honouring his step-great-grandfather, P G Wodehouse, Hal showcases Wodehouse’s pivotal role in shaping the American musical alongside classics by Jerome Kern, the Gershwin Brothers, Cole Porter, Noël Coward, Stephen Sondheim, and more.
Through witty anecdotes, impersonations, and timeless songs, the show highlights Wodehouse’s dual talents as a Broadway lyricist and comic novelist, whose musicals with Kern and the Gershwins defined an era. Join Hal for an enchanting journey through 120 years of musical theatre brilliance.
