Our next two concerts are on Friday 2 and Sunday 4 May
The spring of 2025 launches an extraordinary series of concerts bringing together internationally acclaimed artists, award-winning ensembles, and celebrated performers for an unforgettable journey through the breadth of classical and jazz traditions.
From Mary Bevan MBE, praised by The Times for her “radiant voice and seamless artistry,” to Rachel Podger, described by The Observer as “the queen of the Baroque violin,” the lineup features some of the most exceptional talents in the world of music today.
Highlights include Cuba’s most renowned guitar duo, Tropical Divertimenti, recognized for their “breathtaking virtuosity” (Gramophone), and the London Handel Players, whose performances have been lauded by BBC Music Magazine as “effervescent and joyous.” Louis-Victor Bak, hailed as “a rising star of the piano” (Le Monde), brings the impressionistic brilliance of Debussy and Ravel to life, while the Chris Ingham Trio delves into the captivating jazz compositions of Dudley Moore, called “a revelation” by Jazz Journal.
The series also features the uplifting harmonies of the King’s School Canterbury Crypt Choir, supporting the invaluable work of Sounding Out, and the next generation of jazz talent from London Conservatories, providing a glimpse into the future of the genre.
Rounding out the programme, the charismatic trio of Hal Cazalet, Janie Dee, and Simon Beck will offer a sparkling exploration of P.G. Wodehouse on Broadway, a perfect conclusion to this exceptional musical journey.
