Born in France and now based in London, pianist Louis-Victor Bak began his musical journey with seven years of flute studies before taking up the piano at fourteen. He studied under Chrystel Saussac at the Conservatoire de Lyon and Laurent Boullet in Berlin. In 2019, he moved to London to study at the Royal College of Music with Edna Stern, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in 2023. He is currently pursuing a Master of Performance under Edna Stern and Vanessa Latarche, supported by the Ilona Eibenschutz Award. Louis-Victor has performed at venues such as La Seine Musicale, St James’s Piccadilly, and Steinway Hall UK, and has appeared alongside Mathieu Herzog and the Appassionato Orchestra. He has won several international piano competition prizes and is an artist with Talent Unlimited UK and The Keyboard Charitable Trust. In 2024, he was among the selected candidates for the Leeds International Piano Competition. His debut recording, featuring works by Debussy and Chaminade, was released in 2024.
